Cheryl Davidson, O.D., F.C.O.V.D. graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in Biology from Missouri State University in 1996. She graduated with honors in 2000 from the University of Missouri - St. Louis School of Optometry. In 2014, she became a certified Fellow with the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
From 2001-2005, Dr. Davidson served as Assistant Professor at the UM - St. Louis School of Optometry's Pediatric and Binocular Vision Clinic. She also was affiliated with Webster Eye Care from 1997-2014, where she helped initiate in-office vision therapy and pediatric specialty services at that office. In 2005, the Center for Vision & Learning was created to provide a stand-alone pediatric and rehabilitative optometry practice for the St. Louis area.
Dr. Davidson is active in the Webster Groves Lion's Club, the St. Louis Optometric Society and the Missouri Optometric Association. She provides in-service training to teachers, parents and other professionals. She has been a guest lecturer at the Washington University School of Occupational Therapy and she collaborates with local physical therapists in a holistic approach to the way the visual system affects the body. She is also interested in sports vision therapy services, and works with trainers, therapists and teams to improve the visual skills of local athletes.
A native of central Missouri, Dr. Davidson lives in Webster Groves with her husband Alan and their sons Carter and Luke.
